A library of over 6000 songs, no cover, $1 PBR cans from 9-11pm, $4 margaritas all night. occasional drink specials during randomly picked songs!
Come out and sing! Enjoy the couple people who actually CAN sing, and watch the rest of us make asses out of ourselves! (and say hi to the short redhead-icon is an action shot from one week. i occasionally play inflatable guitar.) |

| any recommendations on psychiatrist in nashville and surrounding areas? |

my shrink is stopping his outpatient practice and i need to find another one and was hoping some one here could tell me of any that they had good experiences with.. the only thing i really need are meds and i need this person to be up to date medical news wise (i have fibromyalgia and a lot of old school doctors still dont believe in it) and very open minded religion wise (as in not pushing or siding with any certain type) i dont really care gender wise but would rather have some one either young or middle age (i have had to switch my shrinks several times because they retire on me grr!!)
last time i had to switch it took a month of me calling my insurance list and most were disconnected numbers or didnt take new patients etc and it took me a month to find one. any suggestions? |

For those that live in the South Nashville area and beyond.. theres a new places that knows your name its called The Flatrock Cafe.. Coffee,Music and good folks..
Wonderful food and also they have a dog friendly deck ..
2624 Nolensville Pike near I440 ..
They are having their grand opening today..

| buying a home: neighborhood recommendations |

Any recommendations for what the best neighborhoods around town are for raising a family? My boyfriend and I are planning to buy a home in about a year and are just walking blind right now as neither of us really know anything about the different neighborhoods around town. Our ideal requirements are pretty simple:
-affordable (we won't be living in Franklin or Green Hills, but we can afford a decent place)
-safe neighborhood, good schools
-have a decent size yard for dogs to play in
-within an hour commute of downtown--Church Street. Might be willing to go further for right house
-somewhere quieter (we live in the little nook between Brentwood and Antioch and you really can't go even to the grocery store in the morning due to traffic and the sirens constantly wake us up)
Other than that the only thing I can think to add is that we are both homebodies. We go out maybe once a month to dinner & a movie and maybe once a week we grab takeout or a pizza.
So, any ideas of where to start looking? |
